This island is pretty interesting.  After getting off the ferry ride, I decided to take a left turn at the road and headed into a nice town right on the water.  I was rather hungry and had a hard time finding a bite to eat, so back I went to Hvar Town.  This was a great bike ride, about twenty km up a pretty crazy hill, and then through a long tunnel.  The longest tunnel of the trip.  In the town, I got a great room.  It was a pretty crazy story on how the room was had, but it was perfect.  RIght down at the base of the main square.  The land lady was  major tennis player and always watching it on the TV.
You can rent little skiffs down at the docks and take them to the nearby islands for the days.  Great way to catch some sun and some beach, we even managed to find a place to catch some drinks at this one island.  The water is super clear all around.  It was great to hang out with these three Australians.  Brother (long hair), Sister, and Husband(short hair), Richard, Gabby, Richard
Make sure to stick around the main square just long enough to be harassed by the town drunk, who somedays is trying to sell his artwork.  Please email me if you know who I am talking about.
