Here is a little bit of footage of the old town of Dubrovnik.  Quite a nice place to see, and quite a few amazing night clubs to head to.  Walking around within the walls of the old town is like nothing else.  There are so many different alley ways to go down, and all kinds of different restaurants there too.  I actually went to one on two different occasions, the meat lasagne was too good to pass up.
A funny thing happened on the bike ride from Neum to Dubrovnik.  What happened was in the morning I had two sandals under the bungee cords on the back of the bike.  But when the time came to take a break, right before the huge bridge heading into Dubrovnik, it was clear that there was only one sandal on the bicycle now.  So, without really worrying about anything, I got new ones soon after arriving.  Also, second strange thing was getting roped into staying with an old woman who was literally ten or twenty steps from the youth hostel in dubrovnik. She was an older woman who rented out rooms in the back of her house. I was then in a room with a French guy about my age who actually was from Algeria.  pretty neat guy, but i was pretty sick the whole time, runny nose, cough etc... So i am sure not to happy of mood, compared to other times.  Maybe that is why my memories of Dubrovnik are not as spectacular as one might think.
