Joan,

It has come to my attention that you placed approximately 15 bags of dog droppings on the steps and mailbox of Unit #4, on Friday 1/19/2007.  This is unacceptable, juvenile and ridiculous behavior.  I am not sure what kind of living situation you are accustomed to, but the rest of the tenants and myself are good neighbors to eachother as well as friends.  We look out for one another's property and animals and are respectful to eachother.  Your actions were disrespectful and appalling.  Not only were the bright green bags that were put all over filled with feces from a much smaller dog, Riley is not even CJ or Adam's dog.  I think they deserve an apology.

If you had a problem, wouldn't it have been more effective to discuss it, rather than vandalize someone's property?  Unfortunately our grass area is frequented by many dogs throughout the neighborhood.  Just last week when my four year old niece and two year old nephew visited and wanted to play on the grass, I picked up all the poop(large, medium, and small) from the yard.  Was this my responsibility?  No, but that is part of living in the situation we choose to live in.  I wouldn't have dreamed of placing the feces that I assume was Joey's on your property, I simply threw it away in the dumpster.

In addition to the neighbor who observed the incident on Friday, I personally saw the couple(friends of your daughter who are staying at your apartment while you are in Hawaii) walking Joey the very next day(Saturday) with identical (very unusual) bright green bags.  Coincidence?  I think not...

In the future, if you have an issue we would appreciate if you handled things in a civilized manor.
